The opening of Technological and Industrial Development Zones in Macedonia has contributed to attracting new investments from many different areas.

One of the companies that invested in Velmar, with an investment worth around 20 million euros, is the company Van Hol, which is one of the leading Belgian bus manufacturers.

Our team of highly qualified and trained engineers and technicians, who are always ready to respond to all requests from design to equipment installation, offered something more than its competitors to win this project.

The biggest difference between Velmar and other competing companies was that the Velmar team offered ongoing maintenance of the installed equipment, servicing it, and supplying spare parts if necessary.

In addition to this, Velmar, with its solid reputation and long list of completed projects, met many of the investor's strict requirements.

In the first phase of negotiations, Velmar won the part of the project that included the delivery of equipment for checking the braking system, with a combined device, the MVT 7250 Eurosystem, and a Lite 3 light device.

Delivery and installation of 10 sets of MAHA MCL mobile cranes with hydraulic pallet jacks has been completed, which are used for the installation of parts of the upper and lower decks of buses.
During the final testing of finished vehicles, the Velmar company delivered the latest model of the WA440 wheel alignment device with sensors from the American manufacturer Hunter and an exhaust gas extraction system from the Italian manufacturer Worky.

We received the largest and most significant part of the project to equip the 4 production lines with vehicle painting equipment thanks to the 15 years of experience of the Velmar company in equipping body shops as a representative of the Italian manufacturer Blowtherm.

Delivery and installation of 2 chassis painting chambers, 5 chambers for final painting of buses, 4 chambers for preparing buses, 2 chambers for mixing and storing paints and 8 cranes installed in the painting chambers have been completed.
